The Japanese Travel Bureau (JTB) commissioned Gabor Built, Inc. to design and build a Yagura (Japanese band stand tower) that could be quickly and easily assembled for Honolulu Festival events and then easily disassembled for storage.

The challenge was to make the Yagura's structure light, but solid and strong enough to safely hold musicians performing from it. Gabor Built, Inc.'s Yagura solution has been featured in numerous publications, including the cover page of "The Hoot" – the University of Hawai’i West Oahu's student newspaper.
